Jul. 16th, 2006 10:19 pmMy parents, Kim, and myself spent the day down in Binghamton (Johnson City to be exact) heping my aunt and uncle clean up their store.
It was pretty amazing seeing just how bad everything was.
They flooded out last year, but with about half the water. It took them 3 months to get cleaned up after that one. At this point, they're not opening this year.
The water actually got deep enough that my cousin was fishing for carp in the parking lot.
It was also pointed out that where we had parked the Tahoe, the Tahoe would have been completely under water. Amazing.

It was also pointd out that my aunt has 3 3' tall Hummels worth roughly $50,000 EACH in the store needing to be cleaned. HOLY SHIT BATMAN!
