Just in case anyone has ever wondered, a '95 Pathfinder's gear shift knob uses an M10x1.25 thread. Also, a USMC Amtrack (sp?) gear select knob uses a 1/2-20 thread, and yes, the M10 fits inside the 1/2-20.

I now have a seriously diesel kickass shift knob.

Knob and adapter separated

Adapter (304 sst) in my seriously dirty looking hand (honing cylinders is a dirty job!)

Knob and adapter assembled

Knob on shifter
(notice my kick ass switch plate that I made at work. hehehehe...don't tell I was wasting time making it!)

You mechies and your toys...
Shouldn't you be getting a new wheel instead of accessorizing?

I added pictures (lousy, but better than nothing)

That is pretty cool. Where did you get it? Did you have to make the adapter? Switch plate looks good.

Now I don't feel so bad about my truck being dirty too. LOL

I have serious mud all over the outside from driving around the jobsite today. Looks like I went mudding.

My sist'ers bf gave me the shift knob. I made the adapter at work. I like having access to a machine shop. I just wish I knew how to weld!

My truck is a complete mess. I'll clean it out this spring.
