It's official.
I work for a fucking communist.

Actually, he's an Atheist, same difference in this situation.

Everyone in our lab is getting ready to leave.
Boss leaves at 4 (per his normal schedule).
All the other bosses/supers have allowed their group to leave a little early.
Not mine.
I have to stay here.
That's right.
I get to be one of, if not THE last one to go home.

What a jerk. Sorry you have to work for someone like that. Where I used to work they would walk around between 2 and 3 and tell you Merry Christmas and go home. I'm so lucky where I am now. You can pretty much come and go as you please as long as your work gets done. When I started here I asked the secretary who we tell if we have to go somewhere and she just looked at me funny and said nobody. We had to sign out if we left in the miidle of the day where I used to work. The secretary would walk around at 8 to see who was late too. It was like you were still in high school or something.

My super expects us to work 8 hours TO THE MINUTE every day. Fuck that. HE'S the only one that can do that. Even our group leader/everyone's boss lets us leave early on Christmas Eve, when she's there.
