Holy crap

It's been a busy weekend, and I'm exhausted.

Friday night Kim and I actually got a life and spent some time with friends we haven't seen in quite a while. This lead to not getting to sleep until around 1:30am on Saturday. Of course, 6:30am brought on a bathroom run, then back to bed for another hour or so. This lead to us heading down to Avon to my parents' house to see some family while one of my dad's cousins was in town. After kabitzing for a bit, we headed down to clean up the boat. We got the inside of the boat cleaned up, leaving just washing, waxing, and apparently poli-coating the hull. We also took inventory of the camper status, and decided there was too much that needed to be done, so we held off until today. All of this on about 6 hours of sleep.

This morning, the dog decided it was time for me to get up around 7am, because I got sick of listening to him whine. I guess I don't need an alarm clock because he always goes off at 6:30am. Around 8:30, after Kim got up and moving, I headed out to change the oil in my truck. While the oil was draining, I cleaned up the yard in order to rid it of dog poo. Finished the oil in my truck and then mowed and trimmed the lawn. After all the rain that we'd gotten, we needed it BADLY (an understatement). While I did that, Kim showered and ran to the dollar store to pick up cleaning supplies that we needed for today. We headed down to Avon around 11, and started to tackle the camper...cleaning it inside and out. Lots of scrubbing and sorting through stuff.

Yeah. It's been a busy weekend. Can I get another weekend to recover? Please?

OMG, you did a week's work in two days. I vote you get a double weekend starting on Thursday!

And I went back town to work on the camper's tires/brakes, as well as start wiring up the brake controller on my truck so I can actually tow the camper. Spent 3-4 hours between the two.

AND, I found one of the brakes broken, so I get to go BACK and fix that...

It never ends! lol
