Need some help/opinions

I'm looking into getting either Rock Band or Band Hero for Wii (birthday's coming up).

Does anyone have any experience with either or both? I'm torn on which would be "better", and what the differences are between them.

Does Rock back do guitar, base, drums, and mic? No matter what web site I go to, I can't get a straight answer on the dang thing.

yes...it also works with GH2 guitars.
