Kim had her endoscopy this morning. They didn't find any ulcers, but they did find quite a bit of bile in her stomach, leading to a slightly inflamed stomach wall/lining. More tests in a couple weeks. Got her home and she slept most of the afternoon.

My friend/coworker's son, sadly, did not make it yesterday. I got an update this afternoon on what happened. He fell and hit his head hard enough that his brain started to swell. They rushed him to the hospital where they removed park of his skull to allow his brain to swell. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough.

Garren turned 1 on January 25, the same day as my friend/coworker. He was just starting to learn to walk.

OMG that is so sad. My sympathies to Garren's family.

I'm glad Kim's issue wasn't ulcers. Is her stomach just producing too much acid? Hopefully it's something they can fix relatively easy.

We don't know what it is right now. He's thinking maybe something's up with her liver.

Oh, poor Kim. I'm sure she was worn out. I'm glad she has the weekend to rest. Keep us posted.

How horrible for Garren's family. How on earth did the fall happen?

I haven't gotten the details on that yet. Maybe when he comes back he'll talk about it, but at this point, it is what it is, ya know?

I am glad they are working quickly with Kim. Hopefully she'll be all better soon!!
