Well, to start this off, my bike started to get the "wobble" again, so bad that I was getting afraid to ride it. So, I took it up to a local shop to see if they could figure it out and fix it for me. I wake up this morning to find I had missed a call from them at 6:30AM. I thought to myself "uh oh thats pretty early to be calling". Check my voicemail, "Hey Geoff, its such and such, I need you to give me a call, its pretty urgent about your bike". I then started thinking to myself "Oh god, its going to be extremely expensive for them to fix it for me".

Well I give them a call back, and as it turns out, it is going to be expensive to fix it, but not in the way I expected. One of the first things out of the guys mouth was "Hey man, im really sorry, but I wrecked your bike...". Turns out, he was riding it down the interstate, on one wheel, when he hit about 127mph. The bike started to occilate left and right on the rear wheel. He let it down, and lost control of it. I must say, the Uncaged Cycles frame sliders did their job in a way, they saved the plastics from all damage. Only thing they didnt save, was the frame. As it is with most other wrecks with the FZ6, the frame slider bent, and broke the frame. Its pretty sad that thats the only damage done to the bike.

Now I am in a delima though....they said they will fix it 100%, free of charge, which means replacing the frame. Im worried that I wont be able to resell the bike though afterwards. I know I am not going to keep this bike forever. Should I tell them to total it out, and get me a new one, or just go with the frame replacement? I still have $3k left owing on the bike as well....

I am completely flabbergasted. Yep, it looks like Lawyer Time. He could probably shove hard enough to get the $3k taken care of, too.
