This past weekend Kim had a wedding shower to go to down in the Berkshires. I decided to head up to VT to see my friend Ian so I wasn't at home sitting on my thumb.

I'm still blown away at how beautiful the area is up there. The riding was amazing, and the roads were perfect for a nice confident, comfortable ride.

I'm still feeling the euphoria.

Beautiful landscape! So jealous.

Random question: what brand/model is your GPS, and do you like it/recommend it? We need to buy one in the next couple of weeks.

Hope you're doing well. :)

It's actually my dad's GPS. It's a Garmin, that I believe is a c330...https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134&pID=6385#

It's nice. I have no complaints about it. It's great for use in a car, so I wouldn't buy one because I want one that I can use while camping too, and this one just isn't feasible for that.

Great! Thank you.

I was hoping it wasn't one of the ridiculously expensive ones - Greg thinks he needs the top-of-the-line model for every piece of electronics we own, and it'll be good to push one under $500 under his nose!

I had no problems with it.

The fact that it didn't account for traffic (it can't), or that I'd almost run out of gas in the Adirondacks had nothing to do with the GPS. Stupid me for letting it do the thinking for me.

I will say, a GPS like that makes driving at night really nice because you can see what's coming up ahead of you.

Very nice Jeff.

I'm headed back to New Hampshire at the end of September. Hope I have the same good weather.

Excellent!

Yeah. We were pleasantly surprised by the weather. The last time I checked the forecast, it was supposed to rain all weekend. I hit some rain on the way there, but haven't seen a drop since.

Oh lord, I didn't go THAT far North. I got off the Thruway in Utica and took 8 across. to Lake George, then up and crossed over at Crown Point.
