Busy weekend

camper4lyfeKim and I headed up to the islands Friday night for the weekend. We got there around 9 despite a massive accident on the thruway (semi rear-ended a car...it wasn't pretty).
Got to sleep in until about 9:30 on Saturday after finally crawling into bed around 11. Fortunately, the bed held and I didn't crush Kim in the middle of the night. Got up Saturday, grabbed a quick breakfast and headed down to the river to help Kim's dad fix his boat hoist. Got that fixed (still trying to figure out what was wrong with it). We headed back up to the trailer, had a quick lunch, and headed out on the boat for a rain shortened ride. Spent the rest of the night chilling out in the trailer/s. Went out and grabbed ice cream at Gal's (man that's good ice cream!). We tried watching Talladega Nights, but about halfway through it, I stared falling asleep and decided to go to bed. Passed out cold somewhere between 10:30 and 11.
Slept in until about 8:30 on Sunday. Got up for breakfast, showered, packed up, and since the weather was cold and windy, we decided to pack it in early and head home. Stopped in Watertown to do some last minute birthday shopping for my sister's birthday (she's home until Saturday) that we celebrated yesterday even though her b-day's not until the 11th. We did her birthday early because she's actually home, and last night was the only time we could all (all 6 of us) get together to go out. Had dinner at Dinosaur BBQ (I'm still fighting off the food hangover from eating too damn much, yet again). After dinner, Kim and I headed home, put away the clean clothes that we had hung around the apartment because they weren't dry when we left on Friday, and called it an early night around 8:30-8:45. Good thing too because we had to be up early to get to work by 7 this morning.
Kim has class tonight so I can work on homework while she's there. Might run down to Honeoye Falls to stock up for Wednesday at Custom Brewcrafters. They make a killer cream porter.
Wednesday we're heading down to Naples/Italy Valley for the 4th.
Thursday I'm headed to PA with the brother-in-law to take care of some woodchuck problems at his uncle's farm. I'll create a picture filter if anyone's interested in pictures from that one (tends to be a bit gory).
Friday I'm off of work again. Going to hang out with the sister and b-i-l during the day and bring them up to Fairport for supper/hang out on Friday night.

how great that your sis is home :)
oh yea and have you seen the new masterpiece bbq sauce out? its a marinade with guinness I got some to put on some ribs for the grill tonight :)

I'll give you a shout if I go to the campground on the 4th. It's not far from Naples.
