Odd thing...

I got home from work last night to find a folded up piece of paper in front of my bike. It had a piece of double-sided tape on it, so I can only assume that it was actually taped to my cover. Either way, it was intended for me to read. There was also a note on one of the other bikes in the apartment parking lot (and I'm sure it was on 2 others, but I didn't take the time to look too hard).

Long story short, it was a letter asking for help getting a license. The guy just bought a bike, got his permit, and is looking for licensed riders to ride with him so he can get the experience needed to take the road test.

I understand his situtation completely, though I'm somewhat hesitant to call. I suppose I just need to give him a call and get a feel for what kind of person he is, and what his intentions really are.

It's a scam. You go there to give him experience and then next thing you know you wake up in a bathtub filled with ice. a pain in your lower back, and a note on the mirror, written in lipstick that tells you to go to the hospital as you no longer have any kidneys. I read about it on the Internet, so it must be true. :)
