I seriously think I'm going to have a breakdown one of these days.

I need to clone myself.

It seems I'm always needing to be in 3 or 4 different places at once.

My schedule:

Monday

  • Arrive at work at 7:30. Wait until about 8 to find out if there are any NVR's in EP that need to be taken. If there is, these generally take an hour to an hour and a half.

  • If NVR's need to be taken, that leaves me an hour before I have to go to class at 10:30.

  • I currently have machining that needs to be done, but it's going to take me a couple hours to do, not to mention set up. It's difficult to set up in the morning then come back later, not to mention the fact that it ties up the machines.

  • Come back from class and try to scarf down lunch.

  • Lunch is from 12-12:30.
  • Wait for a half hour for our DM meeting that takes about 10 minutes (a wast of my time if you ask me.

  • Do DM assembly. This generally takes an hour to an hour and a half as well

By the time 3:00 rolls around, I'm so beat that the last thing I want to do is stand in the machine shop for 2 and a half hours.

Tuesday
This is generally the same as Monday except opposite. I have lab in the afternoon.
DM stuff happens in the morning, preventing me from getting into the machine shop.

Wednesday
Repeat Monday

Thursday
This is the only day that I don't have to go to class, and really the only day I have to get anything done in the shop.

Friday
Yeah. Hello tired? Yeah. It's me.
Repeat of Monday.

I'm stuck in an endless cycle, without much support here at work. It's tough, and I'm starting to get looks because I'm not getting anything done.

I DON'T HAVE TIME TO!

I need to talk to my supervisor and see if he can't do some of the stuff for me to take some of the load off. This is getting to be ridiculous!

"Hello, World? I WANT OFF!"

I may have to take a mental health day some Thursday just to jump on my bike and go for a LONG ride.

I feel your pain, without class, even. (You can read that any way that gives you a grin.)

Hang in there, and call in sick tomorrow.
