Has anyone ever done a"track day" at Watkins Glen race track, or know someone who has?

I'd like to get my dad to take his 'vette down there, but I'd like to know what kind of limitations there are as far as car inspection goes.

Mike here. My dad and I went for a track day with the Porsche club. I believe the only requirements are that the car has 4 wheels, and is road-legal. However, there is a speed limit, I think it is 55 (though nobody really followed it, you will be in a group, and you will be able to drop back and accelerate to catch up). The cars there that day ranged from Dodge Vipers to Dodge Caravans, and everything in between. Hope that proves useful.
