I'm looking for some advice/validity.
I'm pretty sure I've posted about this already (my memory sucks, I'm going to be screwed when I get old), but Kim found a grill and suggested using some of our tax return to get it.
The qrill in question: http://www.grillsdirect.com/gas-grills/grills-with-carts/chargrillerduo.cfm
We went to Lowe's on Saturday to look at some stuff for around the house, and we swung through the grill section. They don't have one in stock, but, I asked about it and they can get one from the warehouse (would take about a week). After this wonderful news, I asked the inevitable question: "how much?" The salesman checked: "$299". WOOHOO! $100 cheaper than the store online (and no shipping).
NOW, should you be in my position, money needed for the house, lots of upgrades you want to make, etc., would you drop $300 on a grill? To go along with the grill, I would like to get the side fire box (for smoking), and a cover (for longer lasting grill, obviously).
Also, has anyone had any experience, or know anyone who has, with Char-Griller brande grills? From what I saw of the stuff they had at the store, it's pretty heavy-duty, so I've got a decent feeling about it.
Thoughts? Ideas? Validation?
Bueller?
