A message everyone needs to heed

In my opinion, the current debate over Mitt Romney's talk about his religion is "much ado about nothing."
When we arrive at the pearly gates, we are going to be asked only one question: "What kind of life did you lead?" We aren't going to be asked what church we attended. God doesn't care whether we are Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Mormon, Buddhist, Hindu or whatever. These are just different paths to the same deity.
If Marx was right when he said that religion "is the opium of the people," then I suspect that some of us are overdosing.
Let's get back to the basics. Love one another and respect each other's fundamental beliefs.
