The big 2-5

Holy crap I'm full.
Talked the 'rents into taking me to Outback for dinner for the big day. Things started out well. Wiatress was running and fully ahead of us on our drinks. Food came out quickly, until it was time for the main course. We got our salad, ate our salad, and sat. The manager comes up and apologizes (I'm wondering why right now), and says that our hot food order got lost in the kitchen somewhere. No big deal. She came out and apologized. She comped our appetizer (yummy cheese fries), and offered free desserts. All in all taking off over $17 from our bill. Knowing what had happened, we were cool with it and just hung out waiting for our food. I, of course, splurged because I can and went with the 16oz prime rib (I knew I wouldn't finish it, don't worry). Good food, decent dessert (chocolate covered cheesecake that was still slightly frozen, but tasted good. It's a good thing I'm not a picky eater).

Now to my redneck side. The Daytona 500 was today. Yes I'm a NASCAR fan. Don't like it? Tough shit. lol. I'm watching the finish to it right now because we had to leave about 3/4 of the way into it. I know how it ended up, but it's still fun to watch. I'm glad Jr. managed to come from the tail of the pack to finish 3rd. It just sucks that Gordon had to finish in front of him. lol

I'm full.
I'm ready for a nap!

This site is pretty neat to fool around with. It saves old webpages and also has some funny public domain educational movies. Funny B&W ones like they used to show us in school. Well, at least I saw them because I'm older than you. You probably didn't even have those stupid filmstrips did you?

I am NOT a JR. fan, NOT a Gordon fan. I like 12 & 48 Neuman & Johnson and that's about it. I haven't been a fan for long, but I am not a fan of Gordon because of Oh wow...so many things BEFORE I even watched the races, and Jr....well...sometimes I just don't like his attitude at all...and certainly NOT the coverage he gets even when nothing is going on with him... "We Know Jr. left the race 12 laps ago, lets go to the batroom and watch the last two wipes he takes before the flush..." Mears and Jamie Macwhatever are cute cute!! And The Viagra guy LOOKS 50 years older than he really is!

I was an Earnhardt fan back before he won Daytona. I'm not a fan of Jr because he's an Earnhardt. I'm a fan of Jr because his style is similar to Sr's style. If that makes any sense.

I don't like Gordon either...I couldn't tell you why, but I don't like him. I was pulling for Kasey Kahne last year just because he was the underdog that made a hell of a statement.

I do agree that they need to lay off Jr quite a bit. I think they only do it because of his bloodline.

I don't think anyone who likes Gordon or dislikes him can give you a reason either way. Something about him seems wrong and evil...like a "turd in a punchbowl," but wrapped in a decent package. Maybe it's the way they trya nd sell him as some wholesome saint when he ain't?!
When he talks....I can smell the bullshit coming from my TV.

I think I am not a Jr fan specifically because he is such a celeb and he knows it and his driving is NOT as good as it should be. (LIKE I EVEN fucking know...just an opinion) Too many people (not meaning you) are his fans ONLY because of his Dad...something I know a lil bit about (not NASCAR related btw, in my real life)...and loathe!

I think you're right about Gordon. In all reality, I don't like anyone that's beating Jr. It's not really one specific person, though for some reason Gordon sticks out the most in my mind. Maybe it IS his attitude. When Jr wins, he has a partying type of an air about him, but when Gordon wins, it's more of an arrogant vibe.
