Chan Gailey is Buffalo's new head coach.

I feel sick.

Had round 2 of my sleep study last night, to get the C-pap settings for mine that I get next week. I'm exhausted today, but not as exhausted as I was after the 1st study. They once again got me up at 5:45am so I could shower and leave. Last time I went home and slept for 3 hours. Today, I came to work...and have stayed awake...

This means something, but I'm not sure what. I was either more comfortable, more tired (and therefore slept more), or the cpap actually did something. I'm not sure, but I do know that when I get home (early as I got to work so dang early), I'm taking a quick nap before supper, then calling it an early night. I have to get caught up on my sleep simply because I have an exam on Wednesday that I need to be rested up for. FUN FUN!

Last night making supper, I learned that pasta sauce can get really hot: 2nd degree burn inducing hot. Yeah, hurt like a mofo. Still tender and bubbly today, but not nearly as sore.

I'm looking into getting either Rock Band or Band Hero for Wii (birthday's coming up).

Does anyone have any experience with either or both? I'm torn on which would be "better", and what the differences are between them.

TIA

I feel like I have a ton on my mind...

The problem is, I can't figure out what it is. May be posting a lot in the near future, and it may not make a lot of sense.

Consider this your warning.

NOT!

Had my sleep study done Friday night. Boy does it suck. They really need to call them "trying to sleep" studies. I spent most of the night tossing and turning and trying not to come unplugged, or pulling off the electrodes.

They woke me up at 5:30am to tell me I was done and could go home. BLAH. Stopped at Tim Horton's, got donuts for breakfast, crawled into bed, and slept for another 3 hours. That one lousy night threw me off for the rest of the weekend, and I'm still trying to recover from it.

The worst part about it, I was so tired Saturday night that I actually had a dream! (If I do dream, I rarely remember it) The only part of the dream that I remember was my best friend dieing. I actually woke up sobbing (no tears, just breathing like I was crying). Very sucky!

I get the results of the study on the 22nd.

So I finally got around to making an appointment to see a sleep specialist. I met with him yesterday morning, and *tada* he thinks I have sleep apnea. I scheduled a sleep study for this Friday (YAY for cancellations!), and a follow up on the 22nd to get the results.

I think this is the first time in my life that I'm actually excited to go see a doctor, in hopes that I can get this figured out and actually have a life again.

Dilemma...

I have 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies sitting on my desk...one thin mint, one tagalong, and one Samoas....

I'm starving...

Should I open a box and just house it, or leave it for now?

Or I could eat my supper early, then grab something on the way to class.

I hate this time of year. It's as if I'm going into some form of hibernation mode, and all I want to do is eat.

So on the desperate urging of my wife, I made an appointment to go see a sleep doctor. december 8 is the big day for the consultation. Yeehaw!

So I can across this community today, and I'm finding myself completely floored.

I can understand picking stuff up off the side of the road (hell, I've done it), but to actually go through a dumpster and take FOOD, and actually EAT said food...it makes me want to vomit.

I can't stop reading this community. It's like a bad train wreck...

I feed myself damn good!

Thursday I was dealing with a migraine, and ended up calling in on Friday (had to go to school Thursday night, so I stuck out the whole work thing). Friday, I decided I wanted beef stroganoff. Made that up Friday night (YUM!). Saturday saw 5 bean chili (with leftover beef brisket cubes), and yesterday, I stuffed myself with lasagna.

I love me some food!

I hate migraines even more on days that I have an exam. I'd much rather just go home and go to bed, but since school is 10 minutes to the West, and I live 20 minutes to the East, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to drive home just to turn around and drive back to school to take the exam then turn around and go home.

BLAH

Ok, so I'm totally weirded out right now.

Most of y'all know that Facebook "suggests" friends on a regular basis along the side of the screen. Well, it's now got me really...um...freaked. It's suggested two people that I know from my past that I share no connection with on FB. One is someone from Syracuse that I know/knew, the other is the BROTHER of one of my exes. WTF?!

How the hell does FB even remotely THINK that I would know these people?

Made brisket and ribs today for Kim's dad's birthday dinner.

I'm exhausted.

The brisket needed to be cooked longer. It tasted good, but wasn't "falling apart" done.

Last Tuesday, my sister had her babies:

Kaylee Ann (4lb 15oz, 17.5") and Addison mary (4lb 2 oz, 17.3")

I think they looked like aliens as newborns.

Aliens to cute )

*sigh*

For the second time this year, a coworker has lost a child. This time, the child is 21 years old, and was also a coworker.

Around 2am, his mother heard noise coming from his bedroom. She went to check on him, thinking he was having a bad dream or something. She found him convulsing, and tried to wake him up. It didn't work, and she called for her husband (coworker). Their sons topped convulsing and went limp. His dad performed CPR while his mom called 911. They rushed him to the ER, performed CPR for another hour, and were unable to revive him.

No idea as to what happened. He was perfectly fine yesterday when I saw him.
