How often do you have to go and start it?

My experience with those places is you spend more on the rent than your stored stuff is worth eventually. With the exception of your motorcycle of course.

I'm paying $30/mo (up from $25 the last couple years)right now. Unfortunately, going from an apartment back to a room makes it difficult. I don't have room for all my stuff, so I'm limited to renting storage. I realize I'm paying a lot over the year, but I really don't have any other options. I could store my bike in my shed in the back yard, but unfortunately, if I did that, I woudlnt' be able to get it out until about June because our back yard gets so wet in the spring.

I just need to get my own place, but alas, I can not afford it right now. I need a roommate, but I just can't bring myself to live with someone I don't know, and don't know anyone I could live with. And part of me wants to be on my own for a while (I have a bit of a codependancy thing working).

GOing from an apartment back to a room, well, kinda sucks. You should see our basement, no room to move.:) With my sisters big stuff, my entire apartment worth of stuff and a couple assorted relatives storing stuff here, its kinda cramped down there.

It sucks. Before I moved out to the rental house, I was fine. But, you know how the whole thing goes...the more room you have, the more shit you get to fill it. Unfortunately, our basement is finished so we lack any storage space.

A portion of the basement is finished, so, I use that for my tv and such. It works out well. Its a big basement and would be cool if the rest of it was finished too.
