I don't understand the shift. Facebook and LJ are two completely different things serving two different purposes, IMO.

LJ is a blog site, Facebook is a social networking site. Sure there's some degree of networking on LJ too, but beyond that I see little similarity.

I agree with you plus why type out a blog if people have read what you are up to on fb unless its something I don't want everyone to know or there are more details than I put it on here
