ok. I have to get this out in the open. first of all, my heart goes out to all those who have been effected by this week's major catasrophe.
Now...to the important stuff. Why does everyone feel the need to stop their life? Why does everyone feel the need to cancel everything? Why does everyone feel the need tolet the US shut down. Isn't that what these bastards want anyway?! Fucking A people! Get a grip! Keep going!
Christ this is fucked up!

OK. Switzerland here...gonna discuss both sides... first, you're right. In a way, we are feedin into what they want, and it's downright rediculous on some level. But the other side of it is also important. We were caught with our pants down. It's too little too late, but you can't help but wonder how many people were saved because they shut things down when they did. I live in Houston...prime target area with all the refineries. We had fighter planes out in full force today...so, right or wrong, I'm glad they shut things down. Now, let's get back on track and do somethin about it! :-)~

I think some people are just overwhelmed with so many emotions it is difficult to do anything. We are starting to get into the swing of things again.

I do agree with you. But there's a fine line between too much. Sure. Take the couple days to recover, but there's no reason to cancel meetings and whatnot. Sure, people are shaken, but that's to be expected. Hell, when I lost Paula, did you see me sitting around and moping? NO! I got even more active, and kept myself busy. The total opposite of what everyone's doing. We NEED to keep busy. To push on, no matter how hard it is.

I don't think it'll be if, I'm pretty sure it's going to be when. That in itself is scary. But we need to get back on our feet before we go to war.
