This weekend sucked.

Bowling Friday night was rough. It was position round, and we ended up bowling the new team, even though they are last in points (they started about half way through the season). The rankings were based on win percentage, rather than total points. The entire team drove me nuts. No offense to anyone reading this, but they were the most obnoxious group of loud Italians I have ever met. They are way too competitive for the league (mixed, for fun league). I ended up bowling a 597, and ended my 200 streak (9 200 games in a row), but still finished over my average, and we still took 6 out of 8 points which is good, but it was THE hardest 597 I've ever bowled. My balance and timing were all off and I was fighting myself the whole night, as well as trying to mentally block out the crap that was coming from the other team.

Saturday morning I finally got around to changing the oil in my truck. That wasn't too bad, except for the fact that it appears my front differential is leaking, as well as the rear main seal. BAH. Front diff I can fix, but the main seal, not so much. NOT happy about that one. I'll keep an eye on it and see where it goes. I'll get a closer look at it when it's not so damn cold out (was in the teens while I was doing the oil).

Later in the morning we took Willy to the vet for a follow-up appointment from 2 weeks ago. Kim took him in the first time because he had a growth on his tail that she wanted checked out. Doc said as long as it doesn't get bigger or start to bother him, to leave it alone. He also said that Willy had an ear infection and gave him meds for it. Follow-up appointment showed that the ear infection's not completely gone, AND he's got an infection in his OTHER ear, so now he's on 3 meds for his ears: 1 oral, one topical, and one ear wash treatment. FUN! So much for a "free" dog, eh? lol

After Willy's appointment, I decided to dive into replacing the kitchen faucet. The old one was starting to leak, and it just looked like ass. Seemed like a simple job. Turns out I had to replace both shut off valves under the sink, and ended up replacing all of the under sink plumbing all the way down into the basement. I got a little bit better at soldering, but don't want to do it again for a little while.

My arms, shoulders, neck, back, and shoulders are killing me today from crawling around under the sink, as well as getting in and out from underneath.

On the plus side, aside from not having enough Teflon tape on the threads for the shut offs, no leaks! Yay!

On a lighter note, I made a very nice 5 bean chili yesterday. Yay no sandwiches for lunch for the next 3 days! (getting sick of them).

It could use a little more spice, but it's still pretty darn good.

Coach fired after his team won 100-0 because it was un-Christlike.

When was the last time you saw a picture of Jesus playing basketball?
