Sep. 11th, 2008 08:12 amI'm so annoyed with our apartment complex right now.
First, I call last Wednesday night to tell them about the bad smell (sewer) coming from under Kim's sink (it's technically in the bedroom, by the walk-in closet). We taped over the hole where the pipe goes into the wall, to keep it to a minimum. As of yesterday, they had yet to show up to do anything about it.
Tuesday, as we're leaving for work, we see a big sign by the exit of the parking lot saying that the lot will be closed on Wednesday for sealing. Any cars not moved will be towed at the owner's expense. Tuesday night we got a 3 page notice about the project, and the time-line for it all. Now, just to point out, and make clear, we were notified on Tuesday that our lot was going to be closed on Wednesday. Ok...that makes it a 1 day notice. It's a DAMN good thing they didn't pull this shit in August when we were on vacation, or THEY would be paying for the towing of TWO vehicles (my truck and bike).
I'm so done with this place. Seriously. We can't find a house soon enough.
