Jan. 14th, 2005 09:57 amScary day yesterday.
Right after lunch, I was standing in front of our lab when I heard a call over the PA for the emergency squad (for the lack of a better phrase) to report to the front desk (not too far from my office). A couple of us looked at each other and wondered what was up. We didn't think too much of it, and headed back to work. About 2 hours later, I was told what the emergency was: the guy who ran one of our coaters had had a heart attack. They took him to the hospital where they performed an angioplasty to clear a clogged artery.
My doctor's been on my case about my cholesterol and weight (diet and exercise, diet and exercise). This may very well have been enough to straigthen me up into eating better and getting to the gym more often (at least for a little while?).
