(no subject)

LONG day yesterday.

Had the end of the season tournament/banquet/tournament (yes, 2 tournaments) yesterday. There were two rounds of 9 pin no-tap tournaments, and a champions tournament at the end. I got into the 12:00 no-tap, which is a good thing because it gave me time to relax before the champions tourny (for all the first place teams for the summer season). In between those tournaments was a bunch of giveaways and such (a 27" tv, 5-disc stereo, dvd player, surround sound system, keroeke machine, and a bunch of little things).

To keep things short, I walked out with 2 trophies (league champions, and high handicap game/series), an Amstel Light visor and Labbatt Blue can cozie, and $15 from the tournaments. I was 4th in the no-tap (729 scratch, 834 handicap) after the first round. Finished in the top 10 (I think) for the whole tourny, and we finished 13th of 15 for the champions tourny. Was a LONG day, but a fun day.

Now I take a couple weeks off before winter league starts.

DUUUUUUUUUUUUH!!!!!!!!!!!

How could I forget the most exciting part???

I bowled my first 300 (on Sunday)!!!







Granted, it was a no-tap 300 (only 5 naturals), but it was a 300!!!!!

(for those wondering, no-tap means that either a strike, or a 9 on your first ball counts as a strike, so if you roll, and leave a 10-pin, it still counts as a strike)
