(no subject)

I feel I should write something, but alas, nothing too overly exciting is going on in my life at the moment. Slowly working through things for myself, and trying to plan ahead, but not too far into the future. We shall see where things go.

Have you ever...

Have you ever stopped to think about how insignificant your life really is? Just stop someday and look out your window and up into the sky. Your gaze could be falling on the light of a star that died hundreds of thousands of years ago, but you wouldn't know it, would you?
Now, I'm a bit of a movie buff, so I need to make reference. The ending in MIB...the whole marble concept...have you ever stopped to think that that just may be possible? Who's to say that it's wrong? I certainly don't have any proof, and I know for sure that you don't either. Ok, ok...so you say the bible is the way to go...well...how about the movie "Contact"? Mass chaos anyone? That is exactly what's going to happen if/when life is discovered elsewhere in the universe, or being optomistic, another universe. I mean, stop and think about it...all the church goers are going to freak out! Would this prove that there is no true "God", or would they just try to hide behind the bible and say that "He" created the other universes too?

Have you ever stopped to think that there may be another person sitting there doing the exact same thing you're doing? Not just sitting at the computer reading this, but the EXACT same thing...thinking hte exact same thing...not necessarily in this universe either. Or they could be in a parallel universe doing the exact same thing, only backwards. Or...there could always be what's called a singularity where time doubles on this planet. Time goes by twice as fast. Do you think that it's possible? I don't see why not. There are still lots of places that we have yet to explore and understand. Who knows?

Well, that's my deep thinking for the year. Now back to normal.
